Job summary

DuraServ is seeking an IT Project Manager in the Dallas–Fort Worth area to coordinate IT initiatives, maintain plans, and ensure governance across multiple projects. You’ll work with IT leaders, owners, and vendors to promote best practices and deliverables.

Approximately 80% focus on project management and portfolio governance, with 20% supporting IT operations, purchasing, and contract lifecycle management. Local commuting area required; relocation not offered; remote work not available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in project management or related area preferred.
• Experience supporting project plans, intake, status reporting, resource coordination, portfolio reporting, or leadership communications preferred.
• Experience developing project status reports, dashboards, portfolio summaries, or leadership communications preferred.
• Experience working with project management standards, templates, governance processes, or best practices preferred.
• Experience supporting IT purchasing, vendor management, contract lifecycle management (CLM), expense tracking, invoice processing, or accounts payable activities preferred.
• Experience in a growing or evolving IT environment where processes are being developed or standardized preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans for IT initiatives (scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables).
• Coordinate projects through lifecycle and support timely completion of objectives.
• Communicate project status, priorities, risks, issues, dependencies, milestones to IT leaders.
• Collaborate with owners, IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to align priorities and timelines.
• Maintain IT project and portfolio reporting, dashboards, and leadership communications.
• Support project intake, prioritization, resource coordination, and planning across multiple initiatives.
• Identify and track risks, issues, dependencies; escalate as needed to support delivery.
• Promote project management standards and governance across IT.
• Coordinate IT operational admin including hardware/software ordering, vendor renewals, CLM, expense tracking, AP support.
