DHL Global Forwarding in Dallas, Texas, seeks an FTZ Innovations Specialist to lead FTZ systems, automate compliance, and drive digital transformation across FTZ operations.

The role partners with Operations, IT, Product Development, and Data Analytics to implement WMS, ERP, and reporting solutions, ensuring data accuracy and AI-enabled improvements. A strategic focus on automation and dashboards will enhance efficiency and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Foreign Trade Zone regulations and operations.
• Strong understanding of U.S. Customs regulations, ACE, brokerage processes, and trade compliance requirements.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms, customs software, and inventory control systems.
• Knowledge of APIs, system integrations, databases, and data architecture.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, data analytics, and reporting technologies.
• Understanding of AI, automation, machine learning, and digital transformation concepts.
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead FTZ systems leadership across FTZ platforms and reporting tools.
• Translate regulations into system functionality and operational controls.
• Oversee data integrity across FTZ applications and interfaces.
• Drive AI, automation, and data analytics initiatives for FTZ operations.
• Develop enterprise FTZ dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Support system integrations and data migrations for FTZ projects.
• Provide training and capability development for FTZ teams.
