Job summary

Veridian Service Partners is seeking a Financial Analyst to support profitability and pricing decisions through disciplined job costing, financial analysis, and ownership of the LEAP pricing tool. You will partner with Finance leadership and operations to ensure accurate cost data and profitable project quoting.

The role emphasizes hands-on analysis, cost discipline, and delivering executive-ready insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 2–4 years of FP&A or related analytical experience.
• PE-backed and/or multi-location business experience preferred.
• Strong Excel and financial analysis skills, including cost modeling.
• Experience with data from multiple systems and data reconciliation.
• Clear communicator capable of executive-ready materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform job-level costing to determine true labor, material, overhead costs and margin of completed and quoted work.
• Analyze job and project profitability, identify cost drivers and opportunities to improve performance.
• Own, maintain, and improve the LEAP/SalesPro pricing tool with accurate inputs, assumptions and outputs.
• Update pricing models as material, labor and market costs change; support pricing decisions across markets.
• Conduct financial analysis of operational and market performance; summarize key drivers for leadership.
• Gather, validate, and reconcile cost and operational data from multiple systems.
• Collaborate with operations and estimating teams to ensure pricing reflects actual costs and target margins.
• Complete ad hoc analyses and special projects for Finance Manager and executives.
• Support alignment between actual job costs, financial results and management reporting.
