Job summary

Allied Universal in Dallas, TX is seeking a part-time Security Officer (unarmed patrol, driver CPR readiness) to protect and serve at a manufacturing/industrial site. You will conduct routine patrols, verify access, respond to incidents, and uphold safety procedures while delivering courteous service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and facility perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and report unauthorized entry attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner following reporting procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in logs and reports and communicate information to site leadership.
