OxyChem is seeking an Insurance Risk Manager in Dallas, TX to lead the procurement of company insurance coverages, manage broker and insurer relationships, and supervise risk management processes. The role emphasizes contract risk review, claims support, and annual underwriting preparations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 6+ years in property and casualty insurance, ARM certification, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in property and casualty insurance.
• ARM certification preferred or required.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of the company’s insurance coverages (primary/excess liability, property, marine).
• Coordinate with brokers, insurers, and third-party claims administrators.
• Review contract insurance requirements and risk clauses.
• Oversee Risk Management department procedures and documentation.
• Tender new claims and assist with existing claims management.
• Prepare reimbursement documentation and collect payments from insurers.
• Oversee accounting, recordkeeping and cost reporting for Risk Mgmt.
• Prepare annual underwriting submissions and expense tracking.
• Prepare, distribute and track financial responsibility documents.
• Compile the department's annual report and metrics.
• Review policies and risk management contracts for compliance.
• Support special projects (acquisitions/divestitures/RFPs).
