Job summary

HF Sinclair is seeking an Associate Counsel based in Dallas, TX. The role requires independence and ownership across a broad range of commercial, transactional, and operational legal matters.

Responsibilities include reviewing, negotiating, drafting, and interpreting commercial agreements, providing risk-based legal guidance, and interfacing with outside counsel. A JD from an ABA-accredited law school and at least 3 years of attorney experience are required, with active Texas Bar membership.

Qualifications

• Jurisprudence Doctorate (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school is required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a licensed attorney.
• Active membership in the State Bar of Texas required.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate, draft, and interpret commercial agreements (supply, services, logistics, procurement, and operational contracts).
• Provide pragmatic, risk-based legal advice.
• Support continuous improvement of legal processes.
• Interface with outside counsel.
