• This technician will need to be located in the Clovis, NM, Roswell, NM, or Lovington, NM area and will travel daily in a 150-200 mile radius to service Dairies in the area.
• This role requires being on call every 1-2 weeks.
• This person will be driving a company vehicle and must pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.

Position Responsibilities

The Dairy Technical Support position is responsible for providing high customer satisfaction through site selection, ongoing preventative maintenance, customer service, and user training of the Micro sanitation program. It also includes sales support, product education, and maximizing customer value and sanitation revenue.

1. Build trust and influence with customers, maintaining relationships with integrity and dedication.
2. Perform preventative maintenance, onsite and remote service/support of Sanitation Systems and related technologies, including troubleshooting and problem solving.
3. Install parts, perform electrical work, plumbing, welding, and fabrication as needed.
4. Conduct site studies for optimal equipment placement based on customer needs.
5. Transport and deliver equipment to customer sites.
6. Educate customers on product indications, concentrations, and usage.
7. Maintain and modify sanitation system software as per customer specifications.
8. Perform operational tests, follow SOPs, and train customer staff.
9. Collaborate with sales teams to develop customer product plans and increase sales.
10. Complete all required paperwork and follow safety procedures.
11. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience & Education

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, plumbing, welding, and fabrication required.
• Experience in dairy operations and with power tools and volt meters helpful.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and operate computer software, including Microsoft Office.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record.
• CDL is preferred or must be obtainable.
• Willingness to cover emergency calls, holidays, weekends, and overnight travel.

• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 100 lbs), and perform manual tasks.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
• Customer service orientation, understanding of organizational and customer needs.
• Technical proficiency with products and technology.
• Strong reasoning, mathematical, and interpersonal skills.

Location & Schedule

• Must be located in Clovis, NM, Roswell, NM, or Lovington, NM, with daily travel within a 150-200 mile radius.
• On-call every 1-2 weeks, with driving a company vehicle.
