Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America in Nashville seeks a CDL-B delivery driver to safely operate straight or pup trucks, deliver dairy products on an assigned route, and unload at customer locations.

You will maintain routes, complete DOT and company paperwork, and support merchandising efforts while building strong customer relationships. Monday–Friday schedule, home nightly, with overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Must meet and maintain DFA motor vehicle records and DOT requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Strong math for calculating load size and weight.
• Proficient computer usage.
• Punctual, able to follow directions and meet deadlines.
• Able to work collaboratively and show initiative.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules and safety practices.
• Deliver pre-ordered or unscheduled products to customers on assigned routes.
• Load/unload products at stops using appropriate equipment and ensure proper stocking.
• Maintain load security and vehicle cleanliness.
• Complete daily paperwork including driver logs and delivery tickets.
• Build relationships with customers and promote product offerings.
• Attend driver workshops and training sessions.
