Job summary

Danone North America in Minster, Ohio, is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to perform microbiological analysis on finished products and in-process samples. You will collect samples, run tests, and help disposition products while supporting continuous improvement in the plant.

The role involves troubleshooting viscosity, pH, color, and sanitation issues on the filling line, with a performance-based bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in science or equivalent experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in quality roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses per control plan and record results to ensure compliance.
• Hold non-conforming products and investigate causes.
• Disposition holds by retest or sorting instructions.
• Bench-work analysis per SOPs and standard methods.
• Enter results into database and analyze trends.
• Environmental tests of fluids and air quality.
• Audit equipment, materials, products and procedures for compliance.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly lab conditions.
• Pursue continuous improvement of lab methods.
• Conduct daily line tours and audits for machine compliance.
• Provide quality leadership to production operators.
• Support plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train others in quality practices.
