Job summary

Lone Star Dairy Production Facility is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to perform daily quality checks throughout the facility and ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and food safety standards in a high-speed production environment.

You will conduct analytical testing, input data into systems, collect samples, and help update Food Safety programs while supporting QA and laboratory activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Adhere to safety, food safety and GMP standards in a high-speed facility.
• Perform analytical tests (moisture, fat, pH, total solids, titratable acidity, protein, salt, antibiotic testing, etc.).
• Input data using computer systems and document results.
• Assist with collection of water and product samples for analysis and preparation for laboratories or customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily quality checks across all departments in Lone Star Dairy Production Facility.
• Conduct analytical tests such as moisture, fat, pH, protein, antibiotic analysis and other required measures.
• Input data into computer systems and maintain accurate records of test results.
• Review testing records and escalate any out-of-spec results to QA Supervisor and management.
• Calibrate and perform maintenance checks on equipment (thermometers, pH meters, etc.).
• Assist with updating Food Safety programs and procedures.
• Participate in root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions and process improvements.
• Support environmental monitoring program administration and routine CCP compliance checks.
• Assist with SQF program management and internal GMP inspections.
• Follow all Food Safety guidelines as required.
