The operator will follow GMPs, SOPs, and SSOPs, monitor temperatures and batch records, conduct sanitation checks, and help maintain maintenance schedules while minimizing downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3–6 months related experience.
• Past experience in a food manufacturing facility is required.
• Ability to read and write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
• Basic math skills including algebra and geometry.
• Knowledge of manufacturing software, inventory software, and MS Office (Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Follow GMPs for pasteurization and SQF compliance.
• Monitor the dairy production process and SOPs for batching.
• Perform pre-operational sanitation inspections.
• Record and verify quality points and process data.
• Report unsafe conditions and food safety violations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment issues.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for the department.
• Operate equipment safely to minimize downtime.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes.
