Job summary

Schreiber Foods is hiring a Process Engineer to optimize upstream dairy processes at our Grand Rapids facility. You will analyze, design, and implement improvements to increase yield, reduce waste, and improve throughput while ensuring food safety and quality.

You will collaborate with Operations Excellence, Maintenance, and Quality teams and support capital projects, new equipment installations, and process documentation. A PE license is a plus and relocation is offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering; chemical or process engineering preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision making.
• Experience with process safety and HACCP/QMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost, and risk.
• Design and implement improvements to enhance yield, throughput, and reduce bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Operations Excellence, Maintenance, and Quality teams on capital projects.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, P&IDs, CCPs, SOPs.
• Lead or assist in equipment installations and commissioning to maximize output.
