Job summary

Cumberland Dairy, Inc. is seeking a production supervisor to oversee daily operations in a dairy manufacturing setting.

You will direct production workers, monitor processing stages from receiving to packaging, and ensure products meet quality standards while maintaining safe, efficient production flows. You will lead a shift from 6pm to 6:30am, manage scheduling, address equipment issues, and collaborate with HR on employee development and discipline as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 to 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food and/or beverage manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership aptitude, team lead experience, or supervisory experience.
• Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign work, and provide clear direction to production employees.
• Monitor operations activities to ensure plant production and quality standards are met.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and cleaned; arrange timely repairs.
• Promote safe work behaviors and document safety incidents.
• Supervise production scheduling to meet orders and demand.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Administer employee promotions, transfers, and performance evaluations.
