Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production by safely troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving cheese processing, packaging, refrigeration, boiler, and utility equipment.

This role collaborates with Production, Sanitation, Quality, Engineering, and other teams to improve reliability and reduce downtime. The position requires reading schematics and manuals, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, installing conveyors and pumps, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years industrial maintenance experience in food manufacturing or dairy processing.
• Experience with mechanical systems such as conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps and motors.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480V; ability to read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures on processing, packaging, and utility equipment.
• Support production operations and packaging lines.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, PLC I/O drawings, and P&IDs.
• Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
• Install, align, adjust, and maintain conveyors, pumps, motors, and production machinery.
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot equipment settings through HMIs.
