Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company operates a dairy plant in Phoenix, Arizona, where you will run and maintain production equipment including sleevers, case packers, depalletizers, and wrappers.

You will monitor packaging items, troubleshoot issues, perform changeovers, and ensure CIP, flow and temperature are controlled. The role emphasizes food safety, QA compliance, and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ months experience in dairy, manufacturing or related field preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math in all units.
• Ability to communicate effectively to complete duties.
• Able to work in a cold and wet environment for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to operate equipment at recommended speeds and report defects.
• Must be flexible to evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to reach up to 77 inches.

Responsibilities

• Closely monitor the dairy production process and adjust equipment as necessary.
• Monitor weights, seals, caps, and packaging items in the process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
• Reassemble equipment after maintenance, clean up, and changeovers.
• Ensure CIP concentrations, monitor flow and temperature.
• Perform preventative maintenance and line changeovers.
• Closely monitor the palletizing process; program new pallet patterns.
• Responsible for food safety, QA and food quality in the designated area.
• Report food safety and quality issues to management.
• Document information per SOPs and maintain required paperwork.
• Follow QA standards and collect samples for QA testing.
