Job summary

Agropur in Wisconsin is seeking a Cheese Packager I for a seasonal, fixed-term role in our packaging department. You will rotate duties, follow GMPs, ensure correct labeling, and maintain paperwork for production.

No experience required; in-house training is provided. This position supports a dairy manufacturing environment and involves collaboration with the packaging and maintenance teams to keep the operation safe and efficient.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No experience required; in-house training provided.
• Experience in a dairy or manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of the cheese production process and procedures.
• Ensure products are packaged with correct bags, boxes, labels, and manufacturing dates.
• Complete and transfer paperwork to the Production Supervisor.
• Support quality assurance tests (scale checks, metal detector checks).
• Collaborate with packaging team to keep packaging room equipment and conveyors clean.
• Support maintenance team with preventive maintenance of packaging equipment.
• Assist in coordinating cooler organization and maintenance.
