Job summary

Gossner Foods Inc. is seeking a Mixing Operator to operate equipment in the Mixing Department, batch and standardize products, document production activities, and support CIP and cleaning procedures in a fast-paced dairy setting.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working with a team. Schedule is Day Shift, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with Monday–Friday duties and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Pre-employment background check, drug screening, and fitness testing required.
• Job-specific training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor all equipment within the Mixing Department.
• Prepare, batch, and standardize products per specs.
• Complete production and quality documentation.
• Perform manual cleaning and CIP procedures.
• Obtain raw milk samples for quality testing.
• Weigh and prepare ingredients under supervision.
• Monitor equipment and report abnormalities.
• Follow food safety, GMP, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Assist training of new Mixing Dept employees.
• Maintain clean, organized, safe work area.
• Support production and other team members as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
