Job summary

Associated Milk Producers Inc. in Minnesota seeks a Manufacturing Project Engineer to develop and manage projects spanning raw milk processing and secondary dairy products.

You will lead cross-functional teams, plan improvements, and manage budgets to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and at least 3 years of dairy/manufacturing project experience, with knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMPs and OSHA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related field preferred, equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3 years of related work experience required.
• Prior experience in food and dairy manufacturing is required.
• Prior experience in project management, estimating, or design is required.
• Knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMPs, OSHA and loss control programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage projects in processing of raw milk, secondary milk products, and other non-operational areas.
• Plan and direct improvement projects; lead problem solving with data-driven analysis.
• Work with management and corporate functions on project planning for growth, process improvement, and safety.
• Lead cross-functional teams to gain consensus and execute business projects.
• Facilitate training; identify asset deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
