Role Overview

The Filler Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining yogurt production equipment to ensure efficient and accurate manufacturing. Responsibilities include overseeing the production line, monitoring equipment, and adhering to quality and safety standards.

Compensation & Benefits

• Up to $25 per hour, depending on knowledge, skill, and experience. Shift differentials for 2nd (10%) and 3rd shift (15%).

Key Responsibilities

• Operate yogurt filling machines per SOPs, including setup and adjustments.
• Monitor and control filling weights, speed, temperatures, pressures, and flow.
• Manage production supplies and resupply as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation on equipment.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and process deviations.
• Maintain accurate production records and quality documentation.
• Follow safety protocols and collaborate with team members to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machine operation or food processing is a plus.
• Experience in dairy processing or food manufacturing preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and ability to follow SOPs.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Basic computer skills.
