DAIRY/LEAD CLERK (Finance)

Plan, organize, train, and direct Grocery Clerks; perform production and customer service functions; maximize store sales and profits. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

  • Engage and counsel associates in effective merchandising, customer service, and promotional activities.
  • Implement company programs and policies, especially regarding a harassment- and discrimination-free work environment.
  • Contribute to department budgets, goals, and results to maximize sales and profits.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and customers to foster a positive environment.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities safely and properly per company policies.
  • Keep floor, shelves, and displays clean and sanitary.
  • Maintain accurate department temperature logs across shifts.
  • Assist with special projects like inventories, resets, remodels, and promotions.
  • Supervise and coach direct reports; conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
  • Perform essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodations.
