Job summary

Agropur Cooperative in Kentucky is seeking a Lactose Operator II to efficiently run dairy processing equipment and perform CIP cycles, keeping the production area clean and compliant with GMP standards. You will monitor temps, solids, and product flow, log readings, and assist with packaging.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work a 5:45 AM–6:00 PM 2-2-3 schedule with opportunities for wage growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years in a dairy or food manufacturing environment required.

Responsibilities

• Operate key dairy processing equipment in the Lactose department.
• Follow start-up procedures and CIP cycles.
• Manage crystallization, lactose refining and drying processes.
• Monitor solids and temperature and adjust for product type.
• Record up to fifty readings and maintain log sheets.
• Maintain sanitation and safety per SOPs and GMPs.
• Support packaging and product flow.
