Job summary

Agropur, inc. is hiring a Lactose Operator II to oversee dairy processing equipment in the Lactose department. The role includes CIP cycles, calibration, and quality control of lactose crystallization and drying processes.

A strong emphasis is placed on safety, GMP, and detailed documentation. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least two years in dairy/food manufacturing, with experience operating pharmaceutical equipment and precise record-keeping.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of experience in a food manufacturing or dairy environment required.
• Experience operating pharmaceutical equipment and related processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to document work legibly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate key dairy processing equipment in Lactose dept., perform CIP per schedule.
• Follow complex startup procedures for equipment.
• Process lactose—crystallization, drying, and quality control of solids/temperature.
• Log up to 50 variables and monitor production parameters.
• Maintain GMP and SOP compliance and safety protocols.
