Farm Job Search in Wisconsin is seeking a Dairy Farm Herdsman to join a 500 cow dairy operation. The position starts immediately, with duties including heat detection, herd health, IVs, mastitis care, calving, and milking hospital cows twice daily.

Must be a self-starter, mature, and dependable; a good cow manager and team player who can follow directions and contribute new ideas. Spanish speaking is a plus; salary is negotiable with benefits discussed during interview.

Formación

• Experience with dairy cattle and milking operations.
• Able to work in a fast-paced dairy environment.
• Must be self-starter, mature and dependable.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Heat detection and herd health management.
• Perform IVs and treat fresh and mastitis cows.
• Calving assistance.
• Milk cultures and hospital milking duties (milking hospital cows 2x daily).
• Assist with employee supervision.
• Follow directions and bring new ideas to the table.
