Job Summary: Stock and maintain product for specific area for retail sales. Act as a mentor to new employees. Maintain department operations in the absence of the Dairy Manager.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Stock product according to standards to give a full, pleasing appearance on shelves or display areas.
• Price product and makes price changes in accordance with standard procedures to reflect cost of goods and margin requirements.
• Clean assigned areas to maintain safe and sanitary conditions. Clean shelves, bins, tables, and coolers on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Consult with Dairy Manager on planning and execution of resetting of sections to accommodate new products or to discontinue slower-selling items.
• Maintain high in-stock levels without excessive back stock; understand product movement.
• May order product from suppliers based on available space, inventory on hand, customer demand or specials through primary vendors.
• Possess an extensive knowledge of products, vendors, and sales in accordance with standards for assigned area
