Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Dairy/Frozen Clerk to support guest service and department operations in the dairy/frozen area. You will stock, rotate, and condition products, maintain clean work areas, and assist with inventory control to minimize damage and shrink.

Responsibilities also include unloading deliveries, ordering core dairy items, maintaining proper records, and performing front-end duties as needed to uphold the no-wait standard for guests.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs constantly.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Knowledge of dairy/frozen operations.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and job requirements.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• May be subject to temperature fluctuations in dairy/frozen areas.
• Ability to bend, kneel, stand, push/pull stock carts and operate pallet jack for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with guests and co-workers.
• Stock, rotate, and condition all dairy/frozen products on shelves per standards.
• Maintain neat, safe work area for guests.
• Keep organized, inventoried overstock in cooler/freezer areas.
• Minimize damage and shrink via inventory control and proper product handling.
• Assist with unloading and verifying deliveries to the store.
• Order milk, eggs, and other dairy/frozen products as needed.
• Maintain organized paperwork for ordering and stock-loss documentation.
• Maintain sanitation on the sales floor and in coolers.
• Perform front-end duties to uphold the no-wait standard.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
