Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a friendly dairy/frozen department associate to help ensure guest service and smooth department operations. You will stock, rotate, and maintain dairy/frozen products, keep the area clean, manage inventory, assist with deliveries, and support front-end tasks to uphold fast, friendly shopping.

Responsibilities include stocking and rotating dairy items, maintaining sanitation, and collaborating with receivers and store managers to meet guest demand.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality suitable for guest service.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs constantly as required.
• Able to work well with others and learn multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with guests and co-workers.
• Stock, rotate and condition all dairy/frozen product on shelves.
• Maintain neat and safe work area for customers.
• Maintain organized overstock in cooler/freezer areas with proper dating.
• Minimize damage and shrink through inventory control and proper handling.
• Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise on delivery.
• Order dairy/frozen items to maintain stock levels.
• Maintain paperwork for ordering and stock loss documentation.
• Maintain sanitation on sales floor and in cooler/freezer areas.
• Perform front end duties to uphold No Noticeable Wait standard.
• Prepare dairy and frozen departments for grocery inventory.
• Work with Receiver and Store Manager to meet guest demand for DSD items.
• Order and merchandises all ad items to maximize sales.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
