Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a customer-focused team member for the dairy/frozen department in South Carolina. You will provide polite interactions with guests and coworkers, stock and rotate products, and maintain a clean, organized area to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

You will assist with deliveries, manage overstock, and support inventory control while adhering to sanitation standards and front-end duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with others.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs constantly.
• Read and understand information and direction.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Subject to temperature fluctuations in dairy/frozen areas.
• Ability to bend, kneel, stand, push/pull stock carts and operate pallet jack for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with guests and co-workers.
• Stock, rotate and condition dairy/frozen products on shelves per standards.
• Maintain neat, safe work area for a positive shopping experience.
• Manage overstock in cooler/freezer areas with proper inventory control.
• Minimize damage and shrink through rotation and handling.
• Assist with unloading and verification of delivered merchandise.
• Order dairy items to maintain product levels and rotation.
• Maintain paperwork for ordering and stock loss documentation.
• Keep sanitation standards on sales floor and in coolers.
• Perform front-end duties to uphold No Noticeable Wait standard.
• Prepare dairy/frozen departments for grocery inventory.
• Collaborate with Receiver and Store Manager to meet demand for DSD items.
• Merchandise ad items to maximize sales and profits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
