Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to maintain the dairy and freezer sections, ensuring proper stocking, rotation, and product integrity. This role supports merchandising, inventory management, and compliance with food safety standards while delivering excellent service to Members.

The position requires 1+ year of experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations, basic knowledge of cold chain management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations.
• Basic knowledge of cold chain management, food safety standards, and product handling requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Email) preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Stock dairy and freezer items according to planograms to maintain visual standards and in-stock levels.
• Maintain cold chain and ensure product rotation using FIFO procedures.
• Conduct quality and date checks, removing damaged or outdated items to uphold safety standards.
• Ensure proper signage and pricing and support seasonal merchandising initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain regular, predictable attendance.
