Job summary

Conagra Brands is seeking a Finance Analyst to perform moderately complex analysis for a defined financial area and present findings to management. You will investigate issues across projects, supporting accounting, audits, treasury, tax, and pricing functions in a dynamic dairy-focused environment.

Responsibilities include planning, forecasting, month-end close support, and developing financial models for product development, customer analyses, and competitive pricing strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of professional general business and financial experience.
• Experience in dairy operations and knowledge of financial systems preferred.
• Experience working across multiple departments on projects.
• Experience with SAP or other software tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a partner for dairy operations on accounting and finance related questions.
• Participate in the preparation and compilation of the annual operating plan (AOP) and strategic plan for assigned component of the P&L and related balance sheet accounts.
• Update the monthly forecast for assigned department based on business changes.
• Communicate changes to business partners with actionable commentary and guidance on risk.
• Participate in month-end/quarter-end close activities and resolve unusual items timely.
• Provide comprehensive financial analysis and models for requests (product development, customer analysis, competitive analysis, pricing).
• Lead FP&A, new product development, manufacturing investments, and in-market investments projects.
• Lead communication of metrics, scorecards and reporting for assigned function.
• Evaluate and deliver periodic metrics, scorecards and reports.
• Provide FP&A support as needed.
• Participate in finance-wide projects varying by business needs.
