Job summary

Hilmar Cheese Company in Hilmar, CA is seeking a Filtration Operator to operate the liquid process and related equipment in a dairy manufacturing environment.

You will perform daily equipment operation, monitor flow, temperature, CIP and cleaning, follow GMP guidelines, and participate in safety and training programs.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 60 lbs, work weekends/rotating shifts, and have basic computer skills; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• English skills must be proficient to understand, read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays and rotating shifts (day/swing/graveyard).
• Ability to lift up to 60lbs and operate basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Operation of separators to ensure proper fat separation and whey cream fat content.
• Operate whey HTSTs following state/federal guidelines, monitor flow and temperature.
• Perform CIP and cleaning steps per plant procedures; maintain sanitation.
