Job summary

Midwest Livestock Systems LLC is seeking experienced service technicians to service and install dairy milking, refrigeration, and manure equipment for dairy customers. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance while maintaining customer satisfaction and professional service calls.

The role requires on-call work including evenings and weekends, with focus on safety, quality, and communication. Training opportunities are provided to keep skills up to date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree with dairy or mechanical emphasis, or related experience.
• Refrigeration Maintenance, preferred.
• Electrical experience, a plus.
• Excellent written, verbal and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, troubleshoot, repair, or install dairy milking, refrigeration, and manure equipment.
• Complete service calls to customers’ satisfaction and ensure value for hours billed.
• Troubleshoot milking systems and test to NMC standards and perform milking time/system checks.
• Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, and suggesting improvements.
• Work on-call including evenings and weekends.
• Attend equipment training schools and other requested sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
