Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a production worker for its Missouri facility. The role covers manufacturing, packaging and distribution of powdered dairy products, while upholding GMP, safety, and sanitation standards. You will operate equipment and assist in quality checks.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read and follow instructions, and good teamwork and communication skills. Training in GMP and HACCP will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to operate basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, operate, and disassemble equipment and machinery.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment following GMP and sanitation standards.
• Operate a forklift, chain hoist and industrial scale as needed.
• Walk, bend, and stand for up to 12 hours per shift.
• Read and follow manufacturing instructions, batch records, and production schedules.
• Complete regulatory compliance documentation as required.
• Sample finished product for laboratory testing.
• Adhere to DFA GMP policies and safety requirements.
• Attend required training such as Safety, GMP, HACCP, SQF.
• Support quality, safety, and sanitation initiatives.
