Job summary

ShopRite of Norwalk is seeking a Dairy Clerk (Grade A) to ensure excellent customer service while pricing, stocking, and rotating merchandise in the Dairy Department. You will maintain a neat, clean, and visually appealing area and perform tasks in a safe, efficient manner in line with company policy.

The role requires reading and speaking English, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will work collaboratively with teammates to meet daily objectives and support store operations.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English and understand basic math.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.
• Able to work in refrigerated and high moisture environments.
• Able to interact with customers and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe Dairy Department.
• Price, stock, rotate merchandise and use price marking devices.
• Unload trucks and transport merchandise to Dairy Department.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Ensure labels, signage, and shelves are up-to-date.
