Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Dairy Department Manager who will lead a high-traffic Dairy department, ensuring fresh, well-stocked products and an excellent customer experience.

You will manage staff, set standards, analyze sales trends, and plan promotions to drive department success. You will recruit, train, and evaluate team members while coordinating with store leadership to meet profitability and service goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One or more years of related work experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Set and uphold department standards for service, cleanliness, sanitation, and profitability.
• Lead by example to foster a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
• Assist customers with finding products and carry heavy purchases.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate department employees; manage performance issues.
• Coordinate scheduling and daily work plans with store leadership.
• Oversee ordering, pricing, invoicing, and department bookkeeping.
• Analyze sales trends; plan promotions and displays.
• Maintain proper product temperatures and freshness; minimize shrink.
• Ensure compliance with dress code, policies, and safety procedures.
