Sprouts Farmers Market in California is seeking a Dairy Manager to lead the Dairy Department, oversee staff, and drive sales while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service. You will direct daily operations, manage inventory, train team members, schedule shifts, and collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure a fresh, safe, and welcoming shopping experience for our customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with 2+ years retail grocery experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor toward team members and customers.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department.
• Stand for up to 3 hours at a time and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Direct clerks and oversee sanitation and presentation of the Dairy Department.
• Process and stock products according to Sprouts standards.
• Deliver outstanding customer service.
• Provide direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department.
• Control inventory and adjust stock to maximize sales and minimize loss.
• Rotate products to maintain freshness and quality.
• Lead scheduling, coaching, and performance reviews.
