Job summary

ShopRite of West Long Branch is seeking a Dairy Manager to direct and supervise the Dairy Department and its associates, aiming to achieve department goals in sales, profit, Customer Experience and engagement. The role reports to the General Store Manager and focuses on safety, presentation, and efficient operations.

Ideal candidates will read, write and speak English proficiently, perform basic math, and lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products and handle cleaning tasks.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of the Dairy Department and its associates.
• Aim for sales, profit, customer experience, and associate engagement goals.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance in the department.
• Lead and train department associates, onboarding new hires as needed.
• Maintain proper staffing and scheduling to meet business needs.
