Job summary

ShopRite of South Plainfield, NJ, seeks a Dairy Manager to direct the Dairy Department and supervise associates under the Store Manager’s guidance. You will drive department goals, supervise daily operations, and ensure safety, quality, and excellent customer service.

You will train staff, manage scheduling, and uphold company policies while maintaining product presentation and departmental profitability in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of the Dairy Department to achieve sales, profits, and customer experience goals.
• Engage and lead associates to achieve department goals.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance within the department.
• Provide training and development to associates; schedule and assign work duties.
• Maintain proper stocking, pricing, and product presentation in the Dairy area.
