Job summary

ShopRite of West Milford is seeking a Dairy Manager to direct all functions of the Dairy Department and its associates, driving sales, profitability, and customer experience under the guidance of the General Store Manager.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to train new associates, and adherence to safety and quality standards, with a focus on service priorities and efficient department operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to engage and lead Associates to achieve department goals.
• Ability to interact with Customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Direct and supervise Dairy Department functions and associates.
• Provide prompt, courteous service and assist customers.
• Lead associates to work cooperatively and with enthusiasm.
• Maintain proper stocking, pricing and display of dairy products.
• Comply with safety, health, and regulatory requirements.
