Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking a Dairy/Deli/Frozen Stocker to transport, stock, and display Dairy, Deli, and Frozen products while upholding freshness, safety and customer-service standards. You will keep shelves full, rotated, and visually appealing and support backroom organization.

Key responsibilities include assisting customers, stocking shelves, monitoring stock levels, safely handling products and equipment, and ensuring health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• What we’re looking for: ability to learn Dairy, Deli, and Frozen products; knowledge of handling dollies, box cutters, pallet jacks, ladders; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency; basic understanding of English; team-oriented, responsible and customer-focused; flexible commute and work availability; legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Smile, greet, and assist customers with courtesy and respect.
• Merchandising: Stock shelves and displays according to company standards, rotate products, and remove out-of-date items.
• Inventory Support: Notify supervisors of low stock levels and help prevent out-of-stocks and overstocks.
• Product Handling: Transport merchandise safely, handle cartons, and return damaged goods to designated areas.
• Compliance & Safety: Follow health code regulations, practice safe lifting, and report unsafe acts.
• Sanitation: Sweep, mop, and clean work areas; maintain housekeeping standards.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with coworkers, assist in building displays, support night crew.
