Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets is hiring a Dairy/Deli/Frozen (DDF) Stocker to ensure fresh, full shelves and attractive displays across Dairy, Deli, and Frozen sections. You will help with stocking, rotation, and safe handling of perishable items in a fast-paced store environment.

You’ll thrive in a team-focused setting, delivering excellent customer service while adhering to safety standards and company policies. Flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering friendly customer service in a retail environment.
• Ability to stock shelves, rotate products, and keep displays appealing.
• Knowledge of inventory basics and stock level awareness.
• Understanding and application of safety and health code standards.
• Ability to work in a team and follow supervisor directions.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with courtesy and respect.
• Stock shelves and displays according to company standards.
• Rotate products and remove out-of-date items.
• Monitor inventory; notify supervisors of low stock levels.
• Transport merchandise safely and handle cartons with care.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines and operate lifting equipment safely.
• Collaborate with coworkers and support night crew as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
