Vallarta Supermarkets in Whittier, CA is hiring a Dairy/Deli/Frozen Stocker to keep shelves stocked, clean, rotated, and appealing while upholding freshness, safety, and customer service standards.

You’ll assist customers, stock displays, monitor inventory, handle merchandise safely, and support sanitation and teamwork in a fast-paced store environment; full-time benefits include life insurance, 401(k), paid vacation, and holiday pay.

• Must be able to transfer to other store locations within a reasonable commute.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Sanitation: Sweep, mop, and clean work areas; ensure shelves and displays meet company housekeeping standards.
• Teamwork: Work closely with coworkers and supervisors, assist in building displays, and support night crew as needed.

About the Role

The Dairy/Deli/Frozen (DDF) Stocker is responsible for transporting, stocking, and displaying Dairy, Deli, and Frozen merchandise in the store. This role ensures shelves are clean, full, rotated, and appealing while following Vallarta’s high standards for freshness, safety, and customer service.

What You’ll Do

Physical Requirements

Stand and walk for long periods (6–8 hours/day).

Frequently bend, squat, twist, kneel, and reach above/below shoulders.

Frequent use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.

Lift and carry up to 25 lbs. frequently, up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and up to 61 lbs. with assistance (buddy system).

Operate manual jacks, power jacks, forklifts, and pallet equipment safely.

Work near equipment and machinery, with exposure to noise, and varying temperatures.

May be required to perform tasks at elevated levels (placing or retrieving items).
