Job summary

Cumberland Dairy is currently seeking a Case Packer Operator to join our team. The role involves inspecting cartons for damage, verifying dates and labels, and ensuring proper sealing through the Case Packer.

The operator will oversee transfer from full carton conveyors to overhead conveyors while upholding GMP standards and communicating across departments to meet daily targets. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth within DFA, as part of a farmer-owned dairy

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Able to read, spell, and write clearly in English.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic and work with measurements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cartons for damage, code dates and labels.
• Monitor cartons and cases as they transfer through conveyors and packers.
• Ensure cases are sealing properly through the Case Packer.
• Follow GMP and communicate with all departments to meet daily deadlines.
