Job summary

Cumberland Dairy, Inc. is hiring a Case Packer Operator in Bridgeton, NJ. You will inspect cartons for damage, dates, and labels, ensure proper sealing through the Case Packer, and sometimes sample products for testing.

The role requires attention to GMP, teamwork across departments, and meeting daily deadlines. Earn $19–$20 per hour with a 2-2-3 rotating schedule; day or night shifts available. Benefits include 401(k), paid vacation, holidays, and growth opportunities within a family-owned DFA

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

Job description

Cumberland Dairy has immediate job openings for a Case Packer Operator team member to perform an array of functions including inspecting cartons for damage, code dates, and labels, ensuring cases are sealing properly through the Case Packer, and periodically pulling samples for testing. Case Packer Operator will be responsible for monitoring cartons and cases as they transfer from full carton conveyors through packers to overhead conveyors, while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and communicating effectively with all departments and meeting daily deadlines.

OUR OPERATORS FOR THIS POSITION START AT AN HOURLY RATE OF:

• $19 - $20 per hour

SCHEDULE: 2-2-3 Rotating Turn Schedule

Day Shift Schedule 6am-6:30pm

or

Night Shift Schedule 6pm-6:30am

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months related experience or training is preferred
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English
• Must be able to legibly write entries for record keeping
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
• Must be ableto regularly lift up to 25 pounds, with capabilities to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
