Job summary

Cumberland Dairy is hiring a Case Packer Operator to inspect cartons for damage, dates and labels, and ensure cases seal properly through the Case Packer. You will monitor transfers from conveyors, pull samples when needed, and work under GMP while coordinating with all departments to meet daily deadlines.

The role requires reading and writing in English, a high school diploma or GED, and flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months related experience or training is preferred.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English.
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cartons for damage, verify code dates and labels.
• Ensure cases are sealed properly through the Case Packer.
• Periodically pull samples for testing as required.
• Monitor cartons and cases as they transfer from full carton conveyors through packers to overhead conveyors.
• Follow GMP and communicate effectively with all departments to meet daily deadlines.
