Daisy Brand LLC is seeking an Analytical Chemist to support cross-functional projects with accurate testing of dairy ingredients, in-process materials, and fermented dairy products. You will develop, validate, and improve analytical methods to support product development, process improvements, quality initiatives, and investigations.

Reporting to the Analytical Sciences Manager, you will collaborate with R&D and other departments, maintain records, and train staff while utilizing GC-MS, HPLC,

Formación

• Ph.D. or M.S. with 3+ years in analytical chemistry or related field.
• 1–3 years of quantitative method development experience.
• Experience with GC-MS, HPLC, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, HPIC.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis; proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Develop analytical methods for raw materials, in-process ingredients, and dairy products.
• Quantify milk proteins in ingredients and products.
• Improve methods for organic/acids, fatty acids, and elemental analytes.
• Troubleshoot and investigate analytical method performance.
• Train team members and other departments.
• Author and review laboratory procedures and reports.
• Perform routine to complex analytical testing per procedures.
