Job summary

ACCEL Schools is hiring Daily Substitute Teachers to support Barber Preparatory Academy and Inkster Preparatory Academy in Michigan. Eligible candidates hold a Michigan Substitute Teaching License or are eligible to obtain one, with at least 60 college credits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 completed college credit hours (education or related field preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom instruction and help maintain a safe, welcoming learning environment.
• Supervise students throughout the school day (classroom, hallways, playground, cafeteria).
• Follow provided lesson plans and school procedures.
• Utilize school-approved curricula reflecting diverse backgrounds.
