Job summary

Medford Public Schools in Medford, MA is seeking a daily substitute to cover full school days across classrooms. Under supervision of the Building Principal, you will supervise the classroom, assist students, reinforce reading and math, and help maintain a safe, orderly environment during staff absences.

The role is part-time with daily rate of $125 without license or $160 with license. Starting date is immediate, with responsibilities including various non-instructional duties and materials

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework preferred.
• Ability to use Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee classroom environment during staff absence.
• Assist students to reinforce reading, language arts, mathematics, computer instruction.
• Support with lunch, bus duty, playground duty, and other non-instructional areas.
• Create and distribute educational materials.
• Follow safety rules and support students with special needs.
