Ashland School District is seeking a daily substitute to manage and teach in a classroom when the regular teacher is absent. The role involves delivering lesson plans, supervising students, and assigning classwork and homework, with flexibility to serve as teacher or aide as needed.

Daily rates are $120 for under 11 consecutive days and $130 for 11–39 consecutive days. Starting date is immediately and the position reports to the Director of Finance and Operations.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting student learning in a classroom setting.
• Ability to follow and implement provided lesson plans.
• Strong communication and behavior management skills.

Responsabilités

• Deliver provided lesson plans and manage daily activities.
• Supervise students, monitor behavior, and assign work.
• Support the regular teacher when in classroom absence.
