Job summary

Palmetto Subacute Care Center is seeking a qualified Housekeeper/Porter to join our team. You will perform daily housekeeping across resident rooms, dining areas, offices, and common spaces, ensuring a clean, safe environment in compliance with facility guidelines.

Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, dusting, mopping, linen handling, and assisting the laundry department. Must be able to read and speak English, follow instructions, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

• Ability to work assigned hours.
• Ability to physically perform job duties.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident rooms, dining rooms, offices, distribute clean linen, and retrieve linen carts; clean restrooms, walls, baseboards, doors, mirrors, dusting and trash removal.
• Stripping and waxing floors as required by management.
