Job summary

Crescent Care of Elgin is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The role involves cleaning and servicing an assigned portion of the facility, including furniture, floors, and equipment, while maintaining a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment.

The Housekeeper will stock supplies, dispose of trash, and follow established safety standards. Prior institutional housekeeping experience and LTC exposure are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous institutional housekeeping experience preferred.
• Prior experience in a long-term care facility a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas and facilities daily.
• Restocks cleaning supplies and maintains carts.
• Gathers and disposes of trash; ensures sanitation standards.
• Cleans bathrooms, floors, walls, and surfaces.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards.
